EZEKIEL 7:1-27
1The word of the LORD came to me, saying, 2You son of man, thus says the Lord GOD to the land of Israel: The end, the end is coming on the four corners of the earth. 3Now the end shall be upon you, and I will send my wrath upon you, and judge you according to your ways; and I will lay all your abominations upon you. 4 And my eye will not forgive you, neither will I show mercy; before I will set your ways upon you, and your abominations will be in your midst; and you will know that I am Jehovah.
5Thus says the Lord GOD: An evil, behold, an evil is coming. 6The end is coming, the end is coming; has aroused against you; behold, it comes. 7 The morning comes for you, O inhabitant of the earth; the time comes, the day is near; a day of tumult, and not of joy, upon the mountains. 8 Now I will soon pour out my wrath on you, and fulfill my fury against you, and judge you according to your ways; and I will lay your abominations upon you. 9 And my eye will not spare, neither will I show mercy; according to your ways I will set upon you, and your abominations will be in the midst of you; and you will know that I, Jehovah, am the one who punishes.
10 Behold the day, behold, it is coming; morning has risen; the rod has blossomed, pride has budded. 11 Violence has risen up into a rod of wickedness; none will remain of them, nor of their multitude, not one of their own, nor will there be one among them who mourns. 12 The time has come, the day has come; Let not the one who buys rejoice, and the one who sells, do not weep, for the wrath is upon the whole crowd. 13For whoever sells will not return to what was sold, even if they remain alive; because the vision over the whole multitude will not be revoked, and because of their iniquity no one will be able to protect his life.
14 They will blow the trumpet, and prepare all things, and there will be no one to go to battle; for my wrath is upon the whole multitude. 15 From without a sword, from within pestilence and famine; Whoever is in the field will die by the sword, and whoever is in the city will be consumed by famine and pestilence. one for their iniquity. 17 Every hand will be weak, and every knee will be weak as water. 18 They will also gird themselves with sackcloth, and terror will cover them; shame will be on every face, and all their heads will be shaven. 19 They will throw their silver in the streets, and their gold will be thrown away; neither their silver nor their gold will be able to deliver them in the day of Jehovah's fury; they will not satisfy his soul, nor will they fill his bowels, because he has been a stumbling block to his wickedness. disgusting. 21 I have delivered it into the hands of strangers to be plundered, and it shall be the prey of the wicked of the land, and they will profane it. 22 And I will turn away my face from them, and my secret place shall be violated; for invaders will enter it and profane it.
23 Make a chain, for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence. 24 Therefore I will bring the wickedest of the nations, and they will possess their houses; and I will cause the pride of the mighty to cease, and their sanctuaries will be profaned. 25 Destruction is coming; and they will seek peace, and there will be none. 26 Disruption will come upon breach, and rumor upon rumor; and they will seek an answer from the prophet, but the law will depart from the priest, and the council from the elders. 27 The king will mourn, and the prince will clothe himself with sadness, and the hands of the people of the land will tremble; According to their way I will deal with them, and with their judgments I will judge them; and they will know that I am Jehovah.
